It’s a good year for fans of German industrial metal. Not only have our ears been blessed with the first new Rammstein album since 2009, singer Till Lindemann has just shared a brand new track from his sideproject with Hypocrisy and Pain frontman Peter Tagtgren, Lindemann.
Dubbed ‘Steh Auf’ (meaning “Get Up!” in English according to Google), the upbeat synth-powered metal toe-tapper marks the first Lindemann release in four years (since their 2015 album Skills in Pills).
It comes packing a sufficiently bonkers music video starring that guy who’s in pretty much every movie & TV show ever, Peter Stormare (Prison Break, John Wick 2, Fargo, Jurassic Park 2, Armageddon, etc.)
And yep — there’s a new album coming too! The band’s second record F & M is due for release on November 22nd so mark that one down m8s.
Till Lindemann has been a very busy boy.
Meanwhile, we’re still waiting to hear when Rammstein’s three year world album tour will bring them down under. Download 2020 anyone?
Until then, you can watch the video for Lindemann’s ‘Steh Auf’ below!
